The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Walter J. Natynczyk gave a luncheon speech to the Rideau Club today, December 16, 2011. As has been his custom for the past few years, General Natynczyk spoke about the state of Canada’s military and its ability to meet future security threats. Robert Evershed, principal at Prospectus Associates, was in attendance.
Mr. Evershed works on the behalf of a range of prominent Canadian and international defence contractors. His experience and knowledge can greatly assist companies involved in Canada defence procurement and political strategic communications.
The Rideau Club predates Confederation by 22 months. Its formation was an initiative of Sir John A. Macdonald and George Etienne Cartier. (Sir John A. was the club’s first president.) It remains the National Capital’s pre-eminent meeting place.
