Pristanski coaches in Hockey Night in Barrie presented by Patrick Brown, MP

August 12, 2010

Patrick Brown MP organized the best charity hockey game in Canada raising more than $200,000 for the Royal Victoria Hospital Cancer Centre.  Coaching the Blue team was Prime Minister Harper and Hockey Night in Canada star Don Cherry.  The White team was coached by NHL veteran Dan Maloney and Bill Pristanski.  Honourable Peter MacKay and Honourable Rob Moore skated with NHL stars Brian Little (Atlanta Thrasher) and Aaron Johnson (Edmonton Oilers).  Former NHLers Mike Gartner, Darcy Tucker and Shane Corson skated with MPs Gord Brown and Brian Storseth.  Olympians Kurt Browning and Jennifer Robinson joined in on the fun.  It was indeed an amazing event for a very good cause.  The Blue team coached by Prime Minister Harper and Don Cherry won the game.
