Esprit de Corps’ Commando Challenge Charity Hockey Game

January 26, 2017

On January 26th, Esprit de Corps hosted its sixth annual Commando Challenge Charity Hockey Game with a double-header. In what has become a traditional event, the Ottawa Service Attachés Association’s squad (aka the Lame Ducks) played the Esprit de Corps Commando Lites, and the Canadian military’s General officers and Flag Officers (GOFOs) played the Commandos squad.

Once again, the National Capital Region came together to support Canadian soldiers and their families, raising a total of $5,500 for the Cadet Leagues. Over the course of the past six years, the Commandoes Challenges have raised $32,000 for Ottawa-based military charities.

The next double-header, Commando Challenge VII, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29 at the University of Ottawa arena, 14:00 – 17:00.

Prospectus Associates is a sponsor to both events while Keelan Green participates as a player for the Commando team.
